Our Promise
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged today — cancel anytime before your trial ends and you pay nothing. And if you're charged at the end of your trial but didn't mean to continue, just tell us within 7 days and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked.
1. Your 7-Day Free Trial
Every new subscription begins with a 7-day free trial:
- You get full access immediately and $0 is charged today.
- We ask for a card up front only to verify you're a real business and to continue seamlessly if you decide to stay.
- Cancel anytime before your trial ends — from your billing page in one click — and you will never be charged.
If your trial ends and you didn't intend to continue, contact us at support@techbids.com within 7 days of that first charge and we'll refund it in full. No reason required.
2. Cancellation & Refunds After Your Trial Converts
Once your free trial converts to a paid plan, you can cancel anytime — and apart from the post-trial goodwill window in Section 1:
- Monthly subscriptions: No refunds are issued for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current monthly period.
- Quarterly subscriptions: No partial refunds are issued for unused months within the quarter. You may cancel, and access continues until the end of the current quarter.
- Yearly subscriptions: No partial refunds are issued for unused months. You may cancel, and access continues until the end of the current annual period.
3. Exceptional Circumstances
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund outside of the 7-day guarantee period in the following circumstances:
- Extended service outage: If the Services are unavailable for an extended period due to issues on our end
- Billing error: If you were charged incorrectly or charged after cancelling your subscription
- Duplicate charge: If your payment method was charged more than once for the same billing period
If you believe you qualify for an exceptional refund, please contact us with details of the issue.
4. How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days, though your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to reflect the credit
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
- Upon refund, your subscription will be cancelled and your access to premium features will end immediately
5. Plan Changes
If you switch between billing cycles (e.g., from monthly to yearly):
- Any remaining balance from your current plan may be prorated and applied as a credit toward your new plan
- Switching plans does not start a new free trial or reset the post-trial refund window
- Contact our support team for assistance with plan changes
6. Abuse Prevention
We reserve the right to deny free trials or refund requests that we reasonably determine to be fraudulent or abusive, including repeated sign-ups intended to obtain multiple free trials or exploit the post-trial refund window. The free trial and refund window are intended for genuine first-time users evaluating our service.
